Today was a tough day. Early in the morning had some very hard to handle customers. Got scolded and had to face their unhappy faces. =(
Aaah Monday blues indeed..
I hope everyday will be easy as a pie. Though i have no idea how easy a pie is.
Oh well.
Can't wait for Wednesday now. TIMBRE!!! Hope we get a seat. Though i think the majority of the people will be rushing to mambo.
Shucks i can still remember that fateful day outside Zouk.
I officially declare that i have Mambo-Phobia.
saded lar. =(

I actually took the wrong train after i got off work on Friday. Took the one towards Pasir Ris instead of Boon lay. And i only realised that I'm on the wrong train 4 stops later. -_-
To further prove my point, I actually shampoo-washed my head 2 times in 1 bath on the very same day.
It's either my mind is too occupied with things or that I'm getting really forgetful.
I hope it's the earlier though.
Truth is, my mind IS indeed occupied with a whole load of thoughts.
I just feel so stupid and helpless.

Damn crap la. I could have passed this time round. But silly mistakes take up quite a bit of marks. And a strict tester doesn't make anything better.
BUT the main reason why i failed is really because of an INCONSIDERATE and RUDE auntie taxi driver. Damn her.
I was driving happily on the road when the tester asked me to change to the right lane. So i waited for 2 cars beside me to pass by me before deciding to change lane.
And that stupid taxi, which was lagging behind, did not want to let me change lane. She accelerated instead, and with my vehicle head already past the line, tried to squeeze past me.
I mean like, if she saw me driving and changing lane already, BE CONSIDERATE LA! Somemore i having the test plate leh. Still do this kind of thing. She scared the shit out of me lo.
So i veered off course for a moment. Tester tick.
I almost caused an accident. Tester tick.
I cause other vehicles to slow down/take evasive action. Tester tick.
I caused inconvenience to traffic. Tester tick.
Wth la. So many points just like that.
AND what's worse, when THE STUPID TAXI DRIVER drove past me, she was apparently scolding me la! Looking at my direction, mouth talking dunno wad gibberish, hands keep pointing at me.
Kao if this is my car, her taxi will be gone.
ARGHHHH. Waste my money and time.
Next test date, 1st July. =(

Luckily my colleagues are really really helpful and professional.
But still, for these amount of work, stuffs to remember, things to do, I'm beginning to feel that earning $7/hr isn't quite enough.
Yes I'm complaining again. Haha. Be satisfied la hor? Since I'll only be working till end of June.
And hopefully go Taiwan in July with xj and gang.
And hopefully earn enough to buy myself tons and tons of stuffs.
Well, humans are greedy and have unlimited wants. Or is it just me?? =p
BUT PLEASE!! Grant me just this one simple want!!
Pass my driving test on Monday, 21/4/08. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!
Wish me luck.

Time: 1200hrs
Event: A seemingly normal lunch time at ITE Dover HQ.
Personnels involved: Me, 3 other colleagues, 1 ex-colleague.
While we were walking to lunch, 1 of my colleague suggested going to Holland Village for lunch. At that point of time, i have absolutely no idea how far Holland V was from our workplace.
Turns out that it is actually quite far. And the next thing i know, we were somewhat run-hopping in the middle of the road.
Not that i mind running. But mind you, running with formal clothings under the hot sun with leather shoes is almost as though I'm doing SOC without rifle and SBO.
Luckily we settled for somewhere near because we figured we couldn't rush back in time.
Phew... Next time la hor? If i manage to get myself a license and a car, it will be much much easier. Haha.
Another funny thing happened today during lunch.
Me: Hmm i think i want to buy bubble tea later.
Ex-Colleague DG: Okay, i'll come with you.
Colleague WL: Huh? When are you buying?
Me: Later. After lunch.
Colleague WL: After lunch???? How you go??
Me: (totally confused) Er, after lunch just go and buy?
Colleague WL: But I thought must be 21yrs old then can buy???
All the rest of us: (with eyes open big big) HUH????
After much explanation,
Colleague WL: OH. I thought "Property"!!
Omgosh.
Haha but that really brightens up my day. =D

Training has been ongoing for the past 2 days and there really is quite a lot to know about and kept in mind. So much so that i need to take back the reference materials and read through.
And there will be a test. Yes a test to test our knowledge.
I don't really know what will happen if i fail. Hopefully i don't la. Heh.
Anyway, colleagues wise, they are a friendly bunch of people. But after talking with some of the temps, I really feel so old la! I bet i will get the same feeling when i enter university.
Come on guys, let us gather around and cry.
Haha okay that's all then!

YAY!
No more "Mr Jobless", "The most free one", "Nothing to do guy", "Super slacker" etc etc.
I'll be working at ITE Dover, which is opposite NUS. So for those who are studying at NUS, we may have a chance of seeing each other! =D
But 1 bad point about this job is that I have to be in formal wear every single day.
Which means that it is time to stock up on formal wear.
Which means that it is time for a shopping spree.
Which means that it is time to spend. A lot.
Oh well, not that it matters. Because..
I AM FREAKING EMPLOYED! =D

Had a great chat with her about everything in life. To be honest, i haven't thought of so many things before, or rather, thought so deeply into so many seemingly obvious topics.
Haha her random nature is really a sight to behold. But yet at the same time, uniquely her. =)
Even a simple, yet exciting ice hockey match can be linked to lessons in life. Or the mysterious savory taste of the waffle and the "cha ye dan". Heh.
Thanks Meiling for the day! Though it's a short meeting, I really appreciate the time spent with you! Meet up soon! =D

Let's face it, I'm old already.
Haha.
But still, it's worth it!! I'm just like a beast released from it's cage, causing havoc and chaos everywhere i go.
MUAHAHA!
Aiya anyway, had a very fun time during Shuxian's 21st bday celebration in BUKIT BATOK yesterday.
Yes finally a "chalet" in the west and not in Pasir Ris!
Though it's not really considered a chalet as it is somewhere very ulu-nated in the forest, I would say that the time spent there is fun and quite EDUCATIONAL in some sense thanks to Uncle Peh. =p
Ok I shouldn't suan him already. Oh and i proved myself useful in some sense as well.
At the very least, I helped the defenseless damselS(with a capital S) in distress to fend off the very "active" cookie. And I risked my life by climbing high up to bring a smile back to a sad boy who lost his helium filled balloon.
*Gives myself a pat on the back*
Hahaha.
Anyway...
Job wise, HOPEFULLY i will be working starting this Thursday.
Driving wise, HOPEFULLY i will miraculously pass my driving.

By telling the story from different points of views, it is as if we are watching a replay of a movie over and over again. And at the same time, expecting the same exciting and heart stopping scene over and over again.
Anyway, during the journey, we mentioned about this teddy bear thing. Which i remember that chipmunk mentioned a super funny article regarding teddy bears before. So, time to kope and share!
The below article is an almost direct copy and paste from Chipmunk's blog, which is a secret. So don't sue me for plagiarizing okay?
"The world is already insane with children trying to blow themselves up in explosives and teenagers shooting off live firearms in shopping malls.
But the word crazy is brought up to a whole new level when people are willing to send their teddy bears for holidays. There’s organized teddy tours and travel clubs to make all the necessary arrangements.
I imagine something like this in the near future:
Plane explodes in mid-air with 295 teddy bears on board
11th Sep 2011
Washington - Terror group XYZ has claimed responsibility for the latest airplane bombing. The plane, with a carrying capacity of 300 on board including 5 crew members, exploded off the pacific ocean at 0700 hrs GMT time while en route to the USA.
A combined total of 219 search and rescue teams from 27 countries are leading the rescue efforts. However, an anonymous teddy bear specialist was pessimistic about survivors, pointing out that teddy bears who were not miraculously blown apart would have drowned 15mins upon hitting water
Thousands of distraught “family members” struggled to come to terms with their losses. Elsewhere, global stock markets took a dive as jittery market players sparked a half hour panic sell down that shaved off a US$72.9 billion off share values.Ironically, little media attention has been given to the 5 living human crew members who, most likely, have too perished in the explosion.
And he actually produced this picture.
Applause please. Haha.
