Went for Meishan's 21st bday celebration last sunday at settlers. Had loads of fun surprising, playing, shouting and screaming. Pictures are up on Facebook! Hope she enjoyed herself. =D

Anyway, I feel so overworked and underpaid sometimes. Battling a sickness that just doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon, I returned to work and faced hordes of customers.

At the same time, the freezing cold and rainy weather tops the chart for making my sickness worse.

But there is this additional thing that really owns all. That makes all of the above seems like midget little ants.


Buying bubble tea.


Yes your eyes are working. Buying bubble tea for my dear little stalked friends.

Imagine 2 sickly guys chionging the heavy thunderstorm and flooding roads. Just for the bubble teas.

It was an event that could have been written down in the pages of history. We slipped, we fell and we bled. We cried, we ran and we were drenched from head to toes. But still we clenched the bubble teas close to our hearts and never let go.


Oh, how great a man can be.

I'M SICK!

No, not that kind of mentally sick. But seriously sick. Flu, cough and i think fever is joining in the fun soon.

Oh my, what a party this is going to be.

Aiyo it isn't fun getting sick. Especially when I'm working today. Imagine me coughing and sneezing in the customers face. Haha I just hope that i won't get a complain. =p

But honestly speaking, I think i should just get some award for best employee if there is.

At the very least, I don't scold customers "stupid bitch" and I don't sleep during work even if I'm freaking tired.

Oh well.... *shrugs*

I CAN'T EVEN TEACH TUTION!!!

Argh the parent only wants female. Walao. Super super unfair.

Getting partially unemployed, unsuccessful at getting employed in tutioning. What else is there to come?

To think that I'm still feeling happy because I ate ice-cream.

Okay that's beside the point.

Anyway, I just want to emphasise again...

Wa lao I'm super fed up and angry early in the morning!!!

ARgh allow me to grumble please.

My stupid employer contracted us till end of June when we first started work. Yet they are rostering us so that we only work 2 weeks a month.

So now that I'm earning lesser, I'm already very buay song. I need the money to go Taiwan. Desperately.

And yesterday I heard that 1 of my call centre colleague will be going on a trip for 2 weeks. Another 1 of my colleague has quitted her job. So i went to speak with my supervisor to see if we can substitute them during our off days.

He insisted that we have more than enough workers. And that if in case 1 of them fall sick or did not turn up, we will be activated.

I mean like, are we dogs? Tell us to work, we work. Tell us not to work, we don't work.

If he knew beforehand that we have enough workers, why the hell did he employ so much more?

Worse is, I still had to force a smile when i talk to him. ARGHH!


No choice already. Will be taking up the tution job.

Aiyo what's happening to me.

Think and think and think. White hair getting more and more. Yet i kept thinking about nonsensical stuffs.

My colleague, abigail is offering me a tution job. Pri 6 kid, english math and science.

I really don't know if i should take up the job. On one hand, i would love the extra cash since I'm quite broke recently.

But on the other, i have absolutely no idea on how to teach. Pri 6 is PSLE year. Cannot play play.

Haha but the main reason is because i have no confidence in myself. And im lazy to commit myself to teaching since it will not be a 1 week/month event.

That is IF they let me carry on teaching.

Oh well, this is me. The lazy, irresponsible, cowardly me.

Aiyo how i wish that money falls from the sky. =(

I can't believe that 1 of my colleague called me a stalker!



Just kill me. Argh.

I've got alot to blog about. So please be prepared! =p

Firstly, Taiwan trip is confirmed. Air tix and hotel rooms are all booked. Will be flying from 19th July till 24th July. Really looking forward to it!!

Also, I went to cut my hair. I shall not say how much i spent. It's not cheap. And i don't really love the hairstyle i have now. Quite messy and boyish at the same time. Oh well. I guess it's still better than my previous one anyway. Heh.

And I went to play badminton 2day! After ages, decades, centuries, eons of not working out, I finally moved my lazy a** and opened the sweat gates. Haha. Had fun playing with daryl, veggie, weiling and yeongtay. =)

But i bet i will have muscle ache tomorrow morning.

Old already lo. Run and jump abit already cannot take it le. Haha!

I'm sad. =(

Few reasons as to why I'm sad today.

1) Veggie's last day today at work. No more laughing and making fun of her eating and speaking.

2) I will not be working a full 5 day starting from next next week onwards. Will be taking shifts, which means working 3 days rest 2 days type.

3) This also means that i will earn lesser, and thus, in order to go Taiwan in July, i'll have to save up.

4) Which also means lesser outings, lesser good food, and lesser shopping trips.

5) AND WORSE, Great Singapore Sales is starting from next week.


You tell me, how can i not be sad??? =(

Hmm i wanted to blog about a 'foodie' outing with veggie and daryl yesterday. But there's no picture so it seems abit bland.

Oh well, just want to mention that the Thai food at Shaw house is really worth a try! Not too expensive, only about $5 per plate for glass noodle, without GST and service charge.

I forgot the name of the shop though. Anyway, it's in Shaw house, near Tom's Palette, the homemade ice cream shop.

Speaking of which, Tom's Palette is also another shop that i was quite pleased in. Service was excellent. We tried numerous flavours in the shop before deciding on what to eat in the end. The flavours taste really original, maybe because it is homemade.

Haha okay guess i should stop. If not some vegetables will call me pig again.



Looking forward to more foodie outings next time! =D

No, I'm not going to become a critic, and neither are my reviews professional. Just my 2 cents la.

My oh my.. Im so overly indulging myself nowadays.

Had some really great food recently. First up, macarons from Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie!



It is quite easy to miss out the shop as it isn't that big, especially since it's at paragon. Anyway, i just couldn't resist myself when we went in and saw the delicious and beautiful looking desserts.

And yes, it is a tad bit expensive. $2.30 for 1 piece of macaron, not counting in the taxes. But after buying half a dozen, i was pleasantly surprised at how the packaging was done. I shall try to post the picture soon. =)

Next up, Japanese food at Waraku! Went there to celebrate Shuhui's birthday and she booked a small cosy but cold room.



Pictures are up on Facebook. What you should probably look out for are the paper steamboat set meals. For a reasonable price, you will get a rather big portion all to yourself. Not forgetting that the food taste great! Definitely a must try.

Anyway, I had some random thoughts yesterday that i found interesting to share.

In life, a person will more or less have a nickname. In my case, the number of nicknames i had is so much that i can't even remember all.

Maybe for you privilege readers who are still reading my blog, i shall name some of them.





Or maybe not.


Aiya they are not very glamorous names la.

Watched Iron Man yesterday night with xx, dt, bimbo and uncle jianhui. It was quite a nice show i must admit. At least the nicest i have saw in quite a while.

Anyway, please don't miss the show. Oh and if you are going to watch the show, remember to book tickets. Or rather, book tickets for seats that are NOT in the front rows. Haha.

Had a nice outing with Xj dot and jc on wednesday night. We were supposed to go to Timbre for a drink but we missed our reservation and the place was too full by the time we reached.

In the end, after driving around and getting lost for quite some time, we settled for Dempsey road.

Went to PS cafe tucked somewhere in Dempsey. Though the place was too noisy for my liking, but looking from another point of view, the noise made the whole place lively instead. Ambience was good, though it was a tad bit too dark. The lighting made me strain my eyes when I'm looking at the menu.

4 of us each ordered a drink, and shared 1 basket of fries and 1 super big slice of chocolate cake.

And my oh my, the chocolate cake is the MOST chocolate tasting cake i have EVER eaten. Trust me on this. Even with the 4 of us combined, we couldn't finish the cake.
